The mini cowhides, as we call them, are cut from large cowhides (from adult cattle). This is because regularly the tannery has hides that are not suitable for interiors or upholstery, for example, due to damage such as cuts, holes, abrasions, larger scars, etc. In order not to let these hides go to waste, we have so-called "mini cowhides" punched out of the undamaged pieces of cowhide. This way we ensure that as little leather as possible is lost and you give this particularly beautiful specimen a second life in your interior.
