Did you know that there are more than 500 different goat breeds? Each goat breed has its own typical characteristics, colors and size. Some breeds are optimized for milk production, with a high milk yield and sometimes a specific fat or protein content desirable for cheese and yogurt production. Other goat breeds are again bred for meat.

Tips for maintaining your goatskin
The nice thing about a goatskin is that it requires very little to no maintenance. Because they are relatively short-haired, just like cowhides, you can maintain them the same way. If you do accidentally spill something on it, such as a glass of drink, pat it dry immediately with a clean dry cloth or kitchen paper.
