Good to know: I don’t always have this size in stock. Really large hides are scarce, so I order them specially from the tannery, which sets the extra-large ones aside for me as soon as they become available. If you see a beautiful XXL hide come along, it’s truly a special find.

Since every hide is unique in size, I measure them all in centimeters; you’ll find the exact dimensions listed with each product, so you can check at home to see if it fits.

Which rooms are XXL cowhides suitable for?

An extra-large cowhide looks its best in more spacious rooms:

• in the spacious living room, as a central rug under or partially under the coffee table;
• in the master bedroom, next to the bed: that way, you’ll never step onto a cold floor;
• the entryway, the kitchen, or the guest room;
• creative spaces such as a reading room, study, or studio;
• and, of course, your man cave or loft, where it adds a rustic, luxurious touch.

How to use an XXL cowhide in your home

• As a rug: lay it flat on a dry, level floor, in the middle of the living room, under the coffee table, or partially under your sofa. Sturdy and naturally non-slip.
• Over your couch or armchair: drape it (partially) over the seat for a playful look. Great for households with pets: this way, you can protect your couch or chair right away.

How do I care for an XXL cowhide?

Very little maintenance. Cowhides have short hair: just vacuum them occasionally on a low setting, without a rotating brush.
